sonofdurinHaven't done one of these in a while, so here goes.
State of the Me
Grad school is haaaaaaaaaaaard, you guys. I'm just out of midterms and am already sliding into finals prep, which means my tagging abilities have been even shittier than usual lately. Which is saying something. I'm sorry for that, and I'll try to do better, but I've got to prioritize my academics and my mental and physical well-being, and right now that means tags wind up falling by the wayside a lot. (I've also got a bunch of potential pup voices rattling around in my head, but none of them are going to happen until I know I'll have the time to play them properly.)
Fíli
Fíli's actually doing really well right now, fighting evil and running his shop and generally having a pretty normal existence. We're coming up on a year since he arrived in Darrow, which'll bring him down a bit, but not much and not for long. This'll be helped along by the fact that he'll be getting his swords as a one-year anniversary present, because who ever said the City can't do nice things for people? At an undetermined point after that, though, he'll find himself caught in a time loop, because I haven't done anything awful to him since the Seeing Stones plot and that is just not on.
Padmé
Silent Darrow sucked, but Padmé's recovering from it nicely (her therapist is making a small fortune), and she's finally got a bit of closure on the events of her canon. Shooting your evil husband is evidently remarkably cathartic that way. Since midterms conspired to keep me from actually playing out her SD plot, anyone who was in there at about the halfway mark and wants to have helped her fight Anakin can feel free to say they did - just let me know! They'll have been knocked around to whatever degree you want and he'll have told them that Padmé will betray them, she betrayed him, here is an itemized list of terrible things he did that are actually her fault, etc. Padmé's response was basically LOL NOPE, all the shit you did is on you, and then she shot him in the face, thanked anyone who helped her profusely, made sure they were okay, and then left without explaining anything. Anyone whose pup would want an explanation, track her down in real!Darrow and she'll probably provide one.
Next month, she's getting a puppy and an actual proper finalized divorce, so she'll be pretty happy. Also, next month, I'm going to have to decide whether or not I acknowledge the Star Wars Christmas Special as existing long enough to make Life Day a thing. So that'll be fun.
Rae's posing a bit of a problem. Her voice is still really strong in my head, but she hates Darrow and is frankly pretty miserable there. She really needs people around her but she doesn't have a lot of friends, and more than either of my other pups, I've consistently had trouble coming up with ideas for things to do with her. I don't want to drop her, especially since she's my newest, but if anyone's got any plots or pups that could use the addition of a grumpy magic-y baker, let me know!

Date: 2015-11-25 05:02 am (UTC)I'm so torn. On the one hand, the Christmas Special is an abomination unto mankind. On the other hand, LIFE DAY. (Also, having a pup with some idea of the holiday being celebrated for once! That would be new and different.)
